Terms And General Conditions
Reservations:
All services should be booked through our Delhi Office. In order to handle our reservation efficiently, kindly advise full details of booking. A Deposit of 50% plus domestic Airfare/Train fare in full is required at the time of booking and the balance should be paid at the time of arrival in India or on half way completion of the tour.
Cancellation:
For any cancellation of confirmed arrangements, a minimum 30 days’ notice is required. Hotels are liable to charge a cancellation fee upto 100% depending on the notice given. Under such circumstances
“Shashi Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd.” reserves the right to hold back part or total deposit to cover the costs.
Confrirmations:
All reservation requests will be confirmed immediately by e-mail Faxes will be sent only when requested.
Communicaton Expenses:
Cost of faxes and long distances telephone call, if necessary for urgent confirmation, are chargeable to clients.
Guides:
“Shashi Travels & Tours” will provide well trained and experienced tourist guides, fluent in English. For all transfers only English Speaking Guides are provide. Guides speaking Languages other than English are available upon request.
Tour Leaders/Guides:
Services are provided free of charge for on Tour Leader on a sharing basis for every 15 full paying passengers, excluding meals.
Hotels:
The check-in and check-out time in Hotels is 1200 Hours. Late departures have to be pre-booked and an extra charge will be involved.
Payments:
All payment must be made in U.S. $ as per the condition mentioned above and should reach the inbound Tour Department. All payments should be made by Bank Transfers or by Bank Draft and drawn in favouor of “Shashi Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd.” Our bank address and account number is given below:

Refund:
No refund or reductions will be made to any Group FIT member who does not take in any meal, sightseeing or accommodation during the course of the tour.
Insurance:
The Traveller/Pax are advised to Insure themselves in their respective countries against accident, medical, loss or baggage etc.
Responsibility
“Shashi Travels & Tours”, while undertaking tours, transportation, hotel accommodation and other services, acts as an Agent on the clear understanding that it shall not be in any way, neither responsible nor liable for any accident, personal injury, sickness, damage, loses, theft, robbery, loss of baggage, including negligence in the part of any person additional expenses or inconvenience caused in connection with the travel facilities arranged by the Company, its employees or Agent. All tours are conducted according to the programme with utmost care. This agency has the right to cancel, change or alter the programme due to any un-foreseen circumstance like natural calamities, landslides, riots, traffic hol ups or where places for visits are closed. All bookings are accepted subject to the above said conditions.
